The Cleveland Browns working again overcame a brutal knee damage in school to be one of many NFL’s finest working backs for the Cleveland Browns, after which he suffered one other ugly knee damage early final season. After a second knee damage like that, there was no assure he’d be again.

Chubb returned on Sunday. And he scored.

Chubb made his 2024 debut and within the second quarter he scored a 1-yard landing. It got here on the finish of a drive by which quarterback Deshaun Watson was carted off with what looked like a serious injury, which was one other reminder of how fleeting life might be within the NFL.

The landing was a bonus. Simply seeing Chubb again on the sphere was an inspiring story, irrespective of how he performed on Sunday.

Chubb had not scored a speeding landing since Nov. 27, 2022 (he did get a receiving landing in that season’s ultimate recreation). Given what Chubb went by since that final landing, the rating in his return needed to be a particular one in his profession.
